● It can lead to physical and mental health issues.
Ways to Overcome Procrastination
Here I have mentioned some tips to stop procrastination :
Break down the steps
You can feel overwhelmed when you have a large task to do and lead procrastination. So it's better to break down your task into smaller ones. It becomes more manageable and easier to start and finish.
Focus on one small task at a time
Concentrate on completing one small task before moving on to the next.
Set the deadline
We postpone things often because there is always tomorrow. So it is best to put certain deadlines to the works that we want to make real. Otherwise there will always be something that you will choose over what you keep postponing.
Seek accountability
When there are works that affect others, that can be group projects or preparing something for a group meeting, you would want to have a decent image in the eyes of others and this image can only be conserved only if you try to be accountable for those actions and start fulfilling your responsibilities. If you seek accountability in your actions, this will greatly improve your image in the eyes of others as a reliable person.
Avoid distractions
Ask yourself what takes your attention away the most - whether it's Instagram, Facebook updates, or the local news—and turn off those sources of distraction.
Set Clear Priorities
One reason we don’t start doing something, because there is something else that feels more important at that moment to us. There is a meaning for each task to fulfil our needs. Some are urgent, some are serious and some are just killing time. We set certain goals for the day depending on the priorities of the tasks that we need to complete so we won’t feel there is something more important that we are missing.
Use Technology Wisely
Productivity tools and apps can help you stay organized and on track. They can provide reminders, structure, and track your progress.
